YOU MADE IT HAPPEN! 2020 Gala Meets $40,000 goal!

Thank you to all who purchased favorites from our Art for the Heart 8x8 Art Gallery, to you who placed bids on silent and live auction items, and to those who made donations before and during the event. Our gracious and dazzling Master of Ceremonies, Mike McInally, made it an evening for the ages in just over an hour! Additional thanks to our dedicated Art for the Heart Task Force, our sponsors listed below, and to our generous community in support of The Arts Center!

Giving Thanks feels especially meaningful this year, as we look forward to a full holiday season! Visual and literary artists are at work creating for our seasonal exhibition, Home Sweet Home. We welcome six new residents to the Artist Accelerator Program (see below), and we are now open Wed-Sat, 12-5 pm thanks to our new and returning volunteers.

Your generosity is very appreciated as we continue to engage our community with creativity: Contemporary thought-provoking art exhibitions--free to all visitors, professional level support for our emerging and professional-level artists, and projects like "ArtMaking@Home" for our young artists. "Home Sweet Home" for Your Holiday Gift Giving!

After months of being home-bound, how have our concepts and feelings of home changed? This exhibit explores visual and literary artists' reflections on the theme of Home, with works created exclusively for this show.

Holiday Fundraiser: Home Sweet Home  includes eight one-of-a-kind birdhouses, hand-crafted  and donated by Brian Egan, and artistically enhanced by artists, Marcie Wolfe, Nyomi Figueroa, Sally Ishikawa, Laurie Childers, Vanessa Smith, Suzanne Getz, Hester Coucke, and Brian, himself. Additionally, Sally Schwartz has donated a whimsically decorated "cut-away" dollhouse -- sure to delight a child, grandchild, or the heart of the child in you. Bids will be taken at The Arts Center; Top bid on December 20, 5 pm, wins!

Celebrate Small Business Saturday @ The Arts Center! Current members will receive a Double Discount (20%) on all Gallery and ArtShop purchases, to kick-off to our seasonal show, Home Sweet Home.
