About the artist:  Jen Hernandez is a community & justice-oriented artist who enjoys her cat, nature, and myths/fairy tales. Her artistic projects include illustration, painting, and soft sculpture created with all kinds of materials, and among those typically colorful, sparkly, and inky. Jen is a creative community educator, with 18+ years of experience in schools and community organizations. Her educational practices aim to encourage learners to share the role of re-creators of the world, exploring & taking creative action for change and global progress.
