Using science-based art activities to teach children about the electromagnetic spectrum and human perception. Working With WAVES!curriculum offers a unique pre-literate platform in which the proportions of math, the patterns of the periodic table, the spectral chemistry of light, optics, and the geometry of form are examined through art activities. Curriculum is copyright of Corvallis, Oregon based teaching artist Carol Selberg, whom developed the curriculum over 20 years.
