Prepare and present new plays inspired by Native American stories. All will be involved in painting backdrops, making costumes, doing theater games and exercises, learning drumming and, of course, choosing and playing roles in the world premiere performances.

New plays inspired by Native American stories await casts ready to present them in world premiere performances. There are good roles for all. To prepare for the world premiere prerformances, we will paint backdrops, create costumes, learn drumming, do theater games and pratice theatrical movement and, of course, choose and learn our parts. The performances will be fully staged, script in hand performances that will provide an unforgettable experience for all.
This Globetrotter Theater Camp will go from August 1 through August 5, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at The Arts Center (700 SW Madison in downtown Corvallis). Campers may be dropped off as early as 8:30 a.m. The activities will include painting and costume creation with material that may be messy. Campers should dress accordingly. Campers should bring their own lunch and a water bottle. Snacks will be provided. Registration for this camp is through the website www.theartscenter.net. Follow the tabs for classes and camps and then youth classes and camps. EARLY REGISTRATION DISCOUNT. The charge for the camp is $225 for the week provided registration is done on or before Friday, July 22. After July 22, the charge is $245. Some scholarship funds are available for qualifying campers. Members receive 10% discount using log-in to register online.
