Expressive Painting with Soft Pastels with Celia Anderson

Go beyond the subject into the realm of what you want to see in this soft pastel workshop with Celia Anderson. She takes participants through exercises that examine the tool kit artist's have to express and examine their emotional response to subjects.

During the two-day workshop Anderson introduces participants to tools artist’s use to shape the expression/mood/meaning of their art through demonstrations and visual imagery both contemporary and historical. She presents problems for participants to solve that are designed to illicit individual responses to both actual and photographic subject matter.
